Is it Dangerous to Develop Your Psychic Power?
Many people believe that there is some internal danger in learning to develop your psychic powers. While I cannot believe that this is true, I do see some logic in the argument.
Many times throughout history, there have been examples of individuals who have been “driven insane” because of their psychic visions. While this has only happened to a select few people throughout history, there are enough of them that some folks worry about their own sanity.
Keep in mind that there are only a very select few that were actually crazy. The fact that there are so many famous psychics who have been called “crazy” is a far different thing than those who are certifiably insane.
Also think of how many people there have been throughout history who have developed strong psychic abilities and been completely normal. Also consider that everyone has the potential to develop psychic abilities, and yet only a small percentage ever reach the point where they need the help of a professional to come back from the brink.
There are so many variables which act against this argument that it seems illogical to me to correlate the development of psychic talents with insanity. Of course, you could simply find a partner or a specialist, particularly through a psychic training course who could help you stay away from these pitfalls. In fact, this insurance policy could be very helpful if you are truly worried about the dangers involved when you develop your psychic power.

Recently there was a great show on about some very youthful psychics and how to teach the parents to deal with the talents their children had. Three girls, one of them gave several names which were verified - including a first and last name of a little boy her age who passed in the 1800’s. These girls didn’t know what they had - and one even found out she was a healer. A training course is definitely a good idea to guiding and controlling these types of powers.
